Thomas Day, the rising Nashville-based singer/songwriter is set to release his debut record "Love Me For Another Day" tomorrow. Thomas has had nothing short of an incredible year so far with over 1.1 million monthly listeners and a sold out headling tour! We had the pleasure of interviewing Thomas to learn a little bit more about his new record! I know you were on America Got Talent, how was that experience for you? How has it changed you as an artist?

America’s Got Talent was a super fun experience! It was the first time I got to perform in front of a large crowd of people. The whole experience made me want to do music full time.

On America's Got Talent you did a cover of music by FINNEAS and Billie Eilish. Have these artists played a role in your sound? Who else inspires you as an artist?

I’m very inspired by FINNEAS’ production and songwriting style. I’m also very inspired by John Lennon and JP Saxe, to just name a few.

With your music’s success, you’ve gained some attention on Tiktok and other social media platforms. How does this influencer aspect impact your life as a musician?

The influencer aspect doesn’t really impact me as a musician. My main focus is just writing and sharing what’s going on in my mind.

You’re set to release your first album, Love Me For Another Day soon, how has that journey been in creating it?

It’s been a long battle of up and down emotions!

With your music, I feel a lot of storytelling and a strong connection to it. Is there a story you feel is being told through the album?

Yes, there’s definitely a story there… but I have more of the story to write about, so I can’t tell you everything just yet!

What season/weather do you associate this new album with?

I think it’s the perfect album for a rainy Fall day.

What song came the fastest to you? Which was the most difficult?

I wrote most of the title track “Love Me For Another Day” in about 3 minutes, so that way definitely the fastest! I don’t think any of them were particularly difficult to write, but if I had to pick one I would say “Stranger” because of the touching message behind it.

Which song of yours are you most proud of?

“Stranger,” “Love Me For Another Day,” and “You Don’t Belong To Me” are my favorites!

If you could collaborate with one artist who would it be?

FINNEAS!

Our magazine is highly fan-oriented. What is the importance of fans to you? Do you have any fun stories to tell us about you and fans?

My fans are the reason I do all of this. They are the reason I don’t feel alone. All I’m trying to do is help them feel the same way through my music.

If you could say one thing to your fans about your new album, tour, or them as a collective what would you say?

I’m so excited to see all my fans in person! This is just the beginning. There’s a lot more of me to come!
